The Mediterranean is a real summer destination. The more south you go, the longer the weather stays nice. Turkey and Malta have good weather until November. But the Spanish Costas can also have beautiful weather this time of the year. In spring it can sometimes be quite fresh at sea because the seawater temperature is still low, keep that in mind.
Areas for the starting sailor are Lefkas. Corfu in Greece. Fethiye in Turkey. Areas for sailors who are looking for a little more challenge are Sardinia, Corsica and Sicily. The other areas are suitable for anyone who is no longer completely new to sailing.
For those who are really looking for a challenge, we have very nice one-ways to and from Mallorca and the Canary Islands every six months. And also some crossings from the Caribbean to the Mediterranean are available.
You can sail independently at all these destinations, but we also have local skippers who can come with you. In the summer there are flotillas in the Mediterranean. And we have very nice Classic Sailing Yachts and Gulets with full crews where you only have to enjoy yourself, nothing else.
